This Privacy Policy describes how "Countdown Banner JP" (the "App") collects, uses, and handles information about merchants (the "Merchant") and visitors to the Merchant's store.

The App is designed to protect privacy while prioritizing the interests of both Merchants and buyers, in compliance with the Shopify Partner Program Agreement.

1. Information Collection

The App collects and uses the following information to provide and improve our services:

A. Information Obtained via Shopify API

The App retrieves the following information through Shopify's API:

• Store Information: Store name, email address, domain name, shop timezone, and language settings (used for App authentication, plan management, and customer support).

B. Information Collected Directly from the Merchant

• Contact information provided through support inquiry forms or email.
• Banner design and schedule settings created within the App.

C. Information Collected from the Merchant's Customers

• No Personal Information Collected: The App does not collect or store any personal information of the store's customers (buyers), such as names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or order history.
• Cookies and Tracking Technologies: The App uses Shopify's recommended session token authentication. It does not use its own tracking cookies or engage in cross-site tracking.

2. Use of Information

The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• Providing the App's core functionality (displaying countdown banners and managing schedules).
• Authentication during installation and maintaining configuration settings.
• Responding to user inquiries and providing customer support.

3. Retention

• Retention Period: Banner configuration data is retained as long as the App is installed.
• Automatic Deletion: When the App is uninstalled, all data associated with the store is automatically and permanently deleted within 48 hours, in accordance with Shopify's regulations.

4. Data Location

• The development and operation base of the App is located in Japan.
• Data processing is performed on infrastructure provided by Shopify and secure cloud servers, with appropriate encryption measures in place.

5. Sharing

The App will not provide or share collected information with third parties without the individual's consent, except as required by law.
