Privacy Policy ​

This Privacy Policy explains how the app "THE NOSHI" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") handles information from users (hereinafter referred to as "Merchants") and their store visitors.

1. Information Collection ​

A. Information Obtained via Shopify API ​

The App obtains the following information through Shopify's API:

  • Store Information: Store name, email address, domain name, shop timezone, and language settings (used for app authentication and support).
  • Order Information: Accessed to link Noshi settings to orders.

B. Information Collected Directly from Merchants ​

  • Contact information provided through inquiry forms or emails during support.

C. Information Collected Directly from Merchant's Customers ​

  • Noshi Setting Data: Information such as "Title (Uwagaki)" and "Giver's Name" entered by the purchaser on the cart screen. This data is recorded directly into Shopify's order management system (Order Attributes/Cart Attributes) and is not stored in the App's own database.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: The App uses session token authentication as recommended by Shopify and does not use its own tracking cookies or cross-site tracking.

2. Use of Information ​

The collected information is used only for the following purposes:

  • Providing the App's services (Noshi selection function, generation of print data).
  • Authentication at installation and retention of settings.
  • Responding to support inquiries from users.

3. Retention ​

  • Retention Period: Setting data is retained while the App is installed.
  • Automatic Deletion: If the App is uninstalled, all data related to the store is automatically deleted within 48 hours, in accordance with Shopify regulations.

4. Data Location ​

  • The development and operation base of the App is located in Japan.
  • Data processing is performed on infrastructure provided by Shopify and secure cloud servers, with appropriate encryption measures in place.

5. Sharing ​

We will not provide or share obtained information with third parties without the individual's consent, except as required by law.
